Hi there! I’m Michelle. I am a multidisciplinary designer specializing in creating meaningful user experience and user interface designs. As a designer, I aim to create for the common good. In other words, I am particularly interested in prioritizing inclusivity and accessibility in my work.

I am currently designing at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where I focus on web design. In addition, I am an active volunteer of the Web Implementation Guidelines Group (WIGG) at the university where I collaborate with developers, accessibility teams, and product reviewers to bring ideas from conception to implementation. In this role I also help create and document web components, as well as maintain the design system.

I’m based in Chicago! I love pastries. My hobbies are ceramics and film photography. Oh, also I received my BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
